Room 9 Procedural Writing - Making Butter

Room 9 did a piece of procedural writing on "Making Butter"

We completed step by step instructions using 'bossy verbs' to make butter.

We then spread it onto crackers and ate them!  Yummo!

Room 9 "Volcanoes'

Room 9 have been busy making volcanoes for our science topic - Mixing and Melting

• We made a volcano in our sandpit.
• We used baking soda, vinegar, detergent and food colouring.
• We liked watching it explode. 
• We then wrote how we made the volcano.

Room 8 -  Fizzy Cocktails

Room 8 have  been learning about reactions and change in science with Miss Mills.
To make our fizzy cocktails we mixed water, icing sugar and baking soda together. When we added the vinegar our concoctions exploded and fizzed up out of the containers. How exciting! We love being scientists.
